Aimless wanderings in Richmond Park

One cold day at the beginning of Autumn, on a whim, we decided to visit London’s Richmond Park. Like several parks in England, it is characterised by large open green spaces punctuated by gigantic trees, some of them very much climbable. Several wild deer roam freely in the park, though they were not as beautiful as the ones that we saw in Woburn. When the temperatures are right, there is the possibility of a scenic walk along the river Thames. Richmond town is a good place for a stroll, provided that you get a place to park. http://www.royalparks.org.uk/parks/richmond-park
